A Biology department which tests medical devices for biocompatibility and is involved in the design, development and validation of innovative diagnostic and treatment approaches.
A department for the preclinical assessment of medical devices validates new treatment solutions for effectiveness and harmlessness prior to clinical trials, in particular using large animal models.
A department for the clinical assessment of medical devices which groups together, under the supervision of Grenoble University Hospital, six patient rooms, a cutting-edge operating suite, a functional imaging platform, and rooms for experimenting with new solutions as part of clinical research protocols.
