The parties involved

Clinatec involves a combination of visionary founders, experienced experts and public and private partners who wish to promote a novel approach to medicine, focused on patients’ needs.
Other key partner: the world of industry

Clinatec is the fruit of a partnership between several expert parties: the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, i.e. Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives), the Grenoble teaching hospital (CHU), INSERM (French Institute of Health and Medical Research) and the Joseph Fourier University. Each party contributes to the implementation of an unprecedented biomedical research model with tremendous potential. At the crossroads of the worlds of technology, research, medicine and post-graduate education, Clinatec is backed up by famous partners who have never ceased to support it and regularly renew their commitment to do so. No less than 90 clinicians, researchers, biologists, micro- and nanotechnology experts, and electronics engineers are committed to this venture with the aim of changing the lives of millions of patients. Professionals from the most prestigious institutions are continuously joining us in Grenoble.

Partnerships on a broad scale

In order to ensure a broad distribution of the therapeutic solutions developed by Clinatec researchers or its partners, the project involves close relationships with the world of industry. The goal is to speed up the marketing of innovative medical devices and make them available to a majority. Production on an industrial scale enables us to provide an offer that meets the needs of millions of patients. Clinatec does not wish to stop at the production of a prototype which would only benefit a few patients. To strengthen this collaboration, Clinatec offers its industrial partners contracts and research services, licensing agreements, as well as the transfer or provision of equipment.
